11月1日，中國（新疆）自由貿易試驗區揭牌儀式在新疆維吾爾自治區烏魯木齊市舉行，標志著新疆自貿試驗區建設全面啟動。該自貿試驗區是我國西北沿邊地區首個自由貿易試驗區。

The Xinjiang Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ), the first in China's northwestern border regions, officially started operations on Wednesday. An unveiling ceremony for the FTZ was held in Urumqi, the regional capital city.

據介紹，未來，新疆將立足資源稟賦、區位優勢和產業基礎，高標準高質量推進中國（新疆）自由貿易試驗區建設，將其打造成思想解放先行區、制度創新試驗田、產業集聚增長極、擴大開放新高地、營商環境樣板區，經過3至5年改革探索，把中國（新疆）自由貿易試驗區建設成為營商環境優良、投資貿易便利、優勢產業聚集、要素資源共享、管理協同高效、輻射帶動作用突出的高標準高質量自由貿易園區，為新疆融入國內國際雙循環，服務“一帶一路”核心區建設，助力創建亞歐黃金通道和我國向西開放橋頭堡作出積極貢獻。

要堅持黨的全面領導，堅持以高水平開放為引領、以制度創新為核心，統籌發展和安全，高標準對接國際經貿規則，深入推進制度型開放，加強改革整體謀劃和系統集成，推動全產業鏈創新發展，讓自貿試驗區更好發揮示范作用。
