日前，經中共中央批準，中共中央紀委對中央宣傳部原副部長、中央網(wǎng)信辦原主任魯煒嚴重違紀問題立案審查。

Lu Wei, the former head of China's internet watchdog, has been dismissed from public office and expelled from the Party for multiple offenses, including taking bribes, the top anti-graft agency said.
因受賄等多項違紀問題，中紀委決定給予中央網(wǎng)信辦原主任魯煒開除黨籍、開除公職處分。

這里的“開除黨籍、開除公職（be dismissed from public office and expelled from the Party）”就是“雙開”。

對于魯煒的嚴重違紀問題，新華社是這樣翻譯的：

used his power for personal gains
