11月17日，阿里漢率領(lǐng)的國足將和中國香港隊展開最后的“生死決戰(zhàn)”，國足只有以大比分優(yōu)勢戰(zhàn)勝香港隊，才能實現(xiàn)世界杯出線的愿望。中國隊主教練阿里漢在媒體見面會上表示：“如果要想打出一場高比分的比賽，我們應(yīng)該在上半場就得分，就像我們打印尼、黎巴嫩那樣，率先進球我們才有機會，有信心去取得大比分的勝利。”

Do-or-die表示“不屈不撓的，孤注一擲的，生死關(guān)頭的”，例如：The force faces do-or-die clash
against the enemy.（這支部隊面臨著和敵人的生死決戰(zhàn)。）
不過，阿里漢補充說：“可能在這一刻會毀掉我們一些夢想，但是有一點請大家相信，這不是中國足球的末日�！�
